Getting Started

UCD Connect is where you will find all links to the services you can access, including GSuite, Brightspace and the Library.

Information Services

UCD IT Services provide technical support and guidance for the UCD Community. They provide a really helpful starter guide for new students. Please take some time to have a look at this guide

Library Services

The library’s on-line search, catalogues and databases open a world of discovery to our students! UCD has the largest open access library in Ireland which means students have free access to most of the books in stock.

Student Services

UCD Student Desk is based in Registry and they are fantastic resource for students if you have any questions about your registration, fees, or anything UCD-related. They have lots of useful information on their website.

My Course Compass

A resource for you to return to throughout your time at UCD to answer questions about your programme. It’ll help you make the big decisions during your degree (like what subjects to take in second year, whether to study abroad, or how to spend your third year as a BA Humanities student). And it will answer your questions about things like how to register, what your GPA means, why electives are important, who to ask for help when you need it, and best of all it’s filled with advice from other students.
