This Design for Transformation module provides a place where the dominant, solution-led approach to the problems we face globally, might be challenged by introducing theory, ways-of-working and holding space for participants to question change creation, by deepening their understanding of their perspectives, capabilities and positions. 

Leading from a design research and critical theory informed position, the ambition of this professional certificate is to introduce a new storyline for transformative thinking and doing. The aim is to support learners  in storying transformation in their lived-lives; something that can impact on the sector, their  geography and our critical design futures narrative by cumulatively addressing the iterative, changing requirements for sustaining adaptation.

Human Capital Initiative HCI Pillar 3 Micro-Credentials Subsidy funding

Creative Futures Academy has been awarded a total of €315,640 from the Human Capital Initiative HCI Pillar 3 Micro-Credentials Subsidy funding. Subsidies will range from 50 – 80% of the total course costs for eligible learners. Applications are now open for a number of courses with more coming on-stream in late 2024 and 2025.
